The Annual Bike Blessing in Wind Lake - 2013
iCare....you care....we all care.
People are asking me what is this new group called
iCare that I am apart of.
My answer is the following...
"It's a group of people who want to save & improving lives by showing We Care."
We have had a lot of suicides & drug overdoses with teens and young 20 year olds in our small towns in the past 6 months. It's time to come to gather as a family & help each other.
This Saturday (4/27 10 am to 2 pm) is a fun free family event at the Community United Methodist Church in Waterford.
It's not only about education of the "not so fun" subjects & dropping off unused MEDS, but we will have Bouncy House, Police dogs, Therapy Horses, Cops & Bobbers, Lesson how to use a Fire Extinguisher, Smoke House, Face Painting, Waterford Recreation Department, Food Pantry, SWATT Team Vehicle, speakers of families who have lost children to drug & suicide & much more.
At 2:30 will be a free concert inside the church. The following people will be playing: Douglas Allen Richmond, Doug Shea and Haley Klinkhammer.
Come out and support this community event & learn. Maybe someday you can help save a life by the knowledge you gain in one day.

Topics: Drugs, Alcohol, Suicide, Pregnancy, Abuse, Home Safety, Auto Safety, Depression, ALONG WITH FUN ACTIVITIES necessary to ENJOY LIFE and overcome problems: Horse Therapy, Drug Dogs, Face Painting, Bouncy House, Fire Extinguisher Training and a Kingdom Concert to Follow.
Also TAKE BACK AMERICA drug collection (inside building). Bring any prescription or over the counter medications you are not currently using to prevent them from getting into the hands of someone trying to get high. Sponsored by: The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and Racine County Metro Drug Unit.
Held at CUMC (parking lot, weather permitting, otherwise inside), 455 South Jefferson Street, Waterford, WI. See http://www.icare-local.org/ for more information.
