Mission Trips 2017

Very excited to announce my second mission trip October 2017 to Kenya, Africa!

We here at KK Photography volunteers at called Infinitely More Life.

Not only does it help women in Milwaukee area, but also teens & women in Kenya Africa. We are helping with fundraising for the
Pregnancy Crisis Center that is being built as we speak. This facility will be called Mercy’s Light -
House of Hope.

I, Kathy Kohl, have the honor of going on the October 2017 mission trip to witness and document the
Pregnancy Crisis Center. Along with giving hope & love on local community in Kenya.

What is CHANGING A DESTINY ?
Changing A Destiny is a non-profit organization that began with a mission trip to Kenya, specifically, Kilifi County. Kilifi County is among one of the poorest and least educated counties in Kenya. It's difficult for children to get an education and receive the physical, emotional and spiritual support they need.  On a recent mission trip to Kilifi, this sad truth was heart-wrenching. We could leave and remember our time there, or do something about it. We chose to do something. This community needs a HEART - where children can be educated, families can get together, and a community can grow. They need a place where they can learn how to be faithful leaders. They need a school and a church. So, that's what we're doing! Over the next three to five years, we want to raise funds to: Purchase land. Build a three-room school and educate young children. Have church services inside the school and be a spiritual center for the community.
And that's just the beginning... We can't wait to see what God has in store!

Life Choices Board Member 2019

Life Choices is a 30 year old mission that help moms & dads be the best the parents they can be.
I feel Blessed a friend, I met years ago through the wedding industry, asked me to join the Board of Directors. My husband is happy I am supporting a local pregnancy center 🙂.
Thank you to Renee Meinholz & the rest of the Board for trusting me to help God’s mission.
One of my first jobs will be helping get the word out to the community that Life Choices is available. My second job is start collecting shoes to raise funds for the this nonprofit. Feel free to drop off gentle used shoes (no winter boots) on the door step of KK Photography 300 East Main Street Waterford.
Any donations of diapers, baby clothes & etc are welcomed. They will be given to families in need & who attend the support 8 weeks classes.

Waterford Balloon Festival

KK Photography will be at the Waterford Balloon Festival again this year doing "Say Cheese for Charity". 

This will help the local food pantry. Stop at the booth on Friday, July 18th and Saturday July 19th. Keep your eyes out for the details of the new photo contest that the Chamber will be hosting.

Kathy is the owner of KK Photography on Main Street in charming, downtown Waterford, WI, for over 20 years. Her photography captures moments for families, business portraits and much more.

Kathy’s passion is to please God by helping people overcome their troubles – especially young moms.
She also has a passion for helping small businesses brainstorm marketing and other fixes for their struggling businesses.
Kathy is not new to helping her community and non-profits making a difference. In addition to her volunteer service to

• Ambassador for Muskego and Waterford Chamber of Commerce.
• Founder & on planning committee for Mom’s Day On Main Street.

Kohl is the photographer for the Norway youth baseball and the Norway flag football leagues. Proceeds from the sale of 4x6 photos taken by KK Photography at the Wind Lake Street Fair are donated to St Vincent DePaul Charity. Kohl started her photography business with a studio right in her home. She has recently relocated to the new EMS Building in Wind Lake which provides an office along with two photography studios.
